Did you know that pretty much all ice cream you’ve ever seen in food photography is just some sort of trickery? Like using shortening which makes it easier to shoot before the ice cream melts and also much easier to sculpt. When you think about it we all may have been sub-consciously trained to crave shortening!

Well, for this shot of our made-from-scratch bread pudding we didn’t want to use shortening, we wanted the real thing.
Created by our very own kitchen staff with no tricks and delicious eat it before it melts vanilla ice cream, or let it soak in… it’s really up to you!
